Our Story
Built for Students Who Need a Clear Path Forward
Math Success Academy was founded by an experienced Florida mathematics teacher who saw firsthand what the COVID-19 pandemic did to students' math learning.
When classrooms closed and moved online, many students missed key building blocks of math: solving equations, graphing lines, and working with functions and geometric relationships. Those gaps didn't disappear when schools reopened. Students arrived in Algebra 1 and Geometry missing skills they were expected to already have. National test results later showed the steepest drop in math achievement in decades.
At the same time, the stakes stayed the same. Florida students still need to pass the Algebra 1 EOC to graduate, and the Geometry EOC counts toward their course grade.
Math Success Academy was created to close that gap: to give students and families clear, affordable resources that meet students where they are and get them ready for test day.
